There are plenty of enemies that do. Off the top of my head, sky dragons and midorin. I suspect most of the guest entities would poof, as the few that I've tried turning into enemies have done so. I suppose if I were smart I would be documenting what works or doesn't work.

Can you use <NCJ instead? Haven't messed around with it, but couldn't it be another option for running scrip apon death?

lol, play some other mods, Nators mod is going to update I think and I will update my mod too hopefully X-Calibar will start his mod too!
Oh well... Why not make a mod urself? Try it!
And dont forget to feedback people! Because this mods maybe not continued because of a lack of feedback!

Well, I just got ahold of, and finished this mod, and it's nice. It's very hard to get through w/out the sword, but I've beaten it with, and without.

To get through the sand zone:

Listen to what the Cthulus(spelling ok?) are saying... Maybe they can give you hints.(Was it something about the 'fight' between the red flowers and the Mimigas?) Also, you have the booster 8.0 now, you should be able to go up through passages you could only go down though previously.

A more in-depth way to do it:

You need to set two of the teleporters to goto eachother for the third one to go elsewhere. Ex. If Mimiga is set to goto the red flower, and Redflower is set to goto Mimiga, Gaudi will go elsewhere.
