My Cave Story Sequels/Prequels
Also I'am going to show it now:
Cave Story "2" = Cave Story 2
The Crowned Witch = Cave Story 3
Sooo Cave Story 4 will be in the Past.
Maybe I'am going to make a Cave Story 5 too.
Time is as following:
Cave Story 4 ---> Cave Story 5 ---> Cave Story ---> Cave Story "2" ---> Cave Story 3: The Crowned Witch
Almost this will be a very big Projekt!
I'am going to finish Crowned first!
After that I will work on Cave Story 2 or Cave Story 4... 
So be ready ;D

Sounds interesting. When do you expect to complete these projects? And will they just be Sue's Workshop hacks, or have anything out of the ordinary (custom sprites, for instance)?

Thats like Starwars ;P I think Cave Story 5 will be most amazing, almost Cave Story 3 will have lots of costum Images I hope I can also build in some assembly. But I really try to keep the Cave Story style!
Cave Story 3 will also have Costum Music. (Well most will be Ikachan music in ORG Format, to keep the Pixel style.)
I think it needs some years... Yes. It will be a life projekt... But I love Cave Stoy! And I was sad to hear that Pixel won't make a sequel so it's my duty to make one ;D

I'm working on a Cave Story, in the far flung future with a Mimiga as a main character, and the original people have aged a bit, shooo that might mean plot holes If'n we try to make them all "linked".

Oooh, the thing is, it involves Miza being older, as in, has a child thing? That's the major problem I see, oh and the major storyline involves the previous heroes, which in mine were Gilamesh, Arthur, King and Quote.  .

Huh? What do ya mean? So this mod is about the Past? Maybe we can make it together if u want So that would be mayne Cave Story 4 or Cave Story 5 but only if u want ^^

Nopers, Miza is the young witch (she stays young because of the curse, when the curse is broken she hits adult-hood within 6 years in my mod) and Quote is older too, it's set in the future .

this is getting a bit out of hand, but the way mine works is:
Cave Story: Legacy --+10 years--> Cave Story
Simple and clean, just like the song.
