Just updating since it's been a little while since the last update. I've made a minor adjustment to some of the content on the Cave Story Tribute site that was in need of an update. Getting ready for the next big XyZ update and getting closer to polishing off the Xak section of the site so I can move on to the other Action-Adventure-RPG lists and then on to YS! Speaking of Ys, Ys Origin looks awesome! I'm really excited about that one. NightWolve over at Plight of the Fan Translator is getting closer and closer to releasing the first English Patch for Ys Oath in Felgana, so that's also something to look forward to. Other than working on the site, I've been playing some Xenosaga III: Also Sprach Zarathrusta and Okami, both really fun games. In other news, Zelda: The Ancient Stone Tablets was recently patched and finished up for play via emulation which was a fun experience for Zelda fans who crave an official sequel to Zelda III: A Link to the Past. Check it out!

I am pretty much done with the Cave Story (Doukutsu Monogatari) Tribute site that I have been working on. I had fun creating it and I hope it will be a good way for more people to learn about and play the game. This is the first of the Tribute sites that will be hosted at GameFlaws.com. The next one will most likely have to do with Game Creators and such. I have updated the forum with a Tribute Site section where people can talk about the Tribute sites, such as Cave Story, but I have yet to update the GameFlaws php pages to show the Tribute sites. I will do that sometime this week and also update the links page with more links.

Wow! It sure has been a long time since I last updated the main page. Over a year! Whee!

Well, in my defense there really has not been too much of a need to update the main site as much as maintaining the Cave Story Tribute Site and the Forums, as they have been the most frequented. As the rest of the Gameflaws forum categories get a bit more attention will merit more frequent updating of the main page. But yes, even without the main page update the site has been alive and well and I'm glad that the site has passed its first year anniversary and is still alive and well.

I've updated the main page with a new poll and some very minor changes in that now you can find direct links to the two Tribute sites hosted here at GameFlaws.com: The Cave Story Tribute Site and the XyZ Tribute Site. The XyZ is a new creation that I'm working on a little at a time that deals primarily with three great Adventure/RPG series: Xak, Ys, and Zelda and the style and gameplay elements thay each have in common with each other. It should be a pretty interesting site as it comes together.

In other news I was accepted to the Savannah School of Art and Design's Interactive and Game Design program. I'm very psyched about this as I now have an opportunity to learn about and accomplish what I've always wanted to do: Making videogames for future generations of gamers to enjoy!

Been awhile since the last update. Been kind of busy with school and such. I began working on a GameFlaws.com style for the forums, but it had to go hold until PenPen and I could get back from our Illinois trip. We saw the Final Fantasy: Dear Friends concert while we were there, which was very cool. Other than this, I kinda, sort of became addicted to playing this one freeware game called doukutsu monogatari (Cave Story), recently translated into English by Aeon Genesis. I finished it today as a matter of fact. It was a fanstastic game and I had an extremely fun time playing through it...twice. So much in fact that I'm seriously considering making a sub-site tribute to the game, that is if the creator of the game (as well as AGTP) gives me the okay to link to their sites. Anyway, it should be fun and I want others to enjoy this game as well. Aside from that I guess I'm going to continue working on the GameFlaws style for MiraiGamer forums and hopefully finish PenPen World's style soon as well.

Edit: GameFlaws.com site and webforum are now operational and open to the public!

Finished the remaining sections of the website: "Archives", "Staff/Contact", as well as the "Links section" (minus the link descriptions). The forum is set up and I've tested everything to make sure that everything on the site is working correctly. I will most likely open the site to the public tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it and it has been a long process in the works. I'm glad to finally be done with everything, at least in relative terms anyway. A site is never really completely done.
